Beginning Knitting Mini Classes – all it takes is one two-hour class and we can have you knitting!  Take Part One to start and then add Part Two and Part Three when you are ready. Class fees:  $15 per session, plus materials. Taught by Jane Brown.

Knitting 101 - Learn the basic skills of casting on, casting off, knit and purl stitches.  All the skills you need to make a scarf! Choose one of these days:  Thursday, September 16, 1 - 3 pm or 7 to 9 pm,  Saturday, September 18, 1 - 3 pm       

Knitting 102 - Add to your skills by learning increases, decreases, and ribbing!   Choose one of these days:  Thursday, September 23, 1 to 3 pm  or   7 to 9 pm       Saturday, September 25, 1 to 3 pm        

Knitting 103 - Move on to more advanced skills by learning cables!  Choose one of these days:  Thursday, Sept. 30, 1 to 3 pm or 7 to 9 pm                Saturday, October  2, 1 to 3 pm

Knitting 104 - Be challenged with a project using color changes! Choose from these days: Thursday, October 7, 1 to 3 pm or 7 to 9 pm               Saturday, October  9, 1 to 3 pm

Intermediate Knitting Classes – Move beyond scarves to more advanced projects. Taught by Jean Austin Classes are on  Saturday mornings from 10 to 12 (note new time).

Sleeveless sweater – make this pretty design from the Summer 2010 Knitter’s Magazine.  Four sessions, class fee $45 plus materials and magazine. Saturdays – September 18, 25, October 2, and 9.

Socks – Learn to make socks the traditional way – on four needles from the cuff down. Use one of the interesting patterned yarns for a project that will knock your socks off!  Three sessions, class fee $40 plus materials (free pattern). Saturdays – October 16, 23, 30.

Hat in-the-round – learn how to make a hat on circular needles with one of Jean’s free patterns. Two Saturdays - November  6 and 13. Class Fee $30 plus materials.

Two-color Norwegian style mittens –  learn to work with two colors and in the round on four needles to make mittens the traditional way.  Four sessions, class fee $45 plus materials (free pattern). Saturdays, November  20, December  4, 11 and 18.

Knit a bag-in-a-bag with designer Janet Sandell. Make a fashionable bag with a quick canvas lining. Many choices of design.  Two sessions, class fee $30 plus materials.  Choose from Tuesday Oct. 19 and 26 or Thursday Nov. 4 and 11. 10am to 12 pm.

Crochet Classes – Learn, renew or improve your crochet skills with these exciting classes.  Choose a single session that works best for you.  Class fees:  $15 per session, plus materials.  Taught by Jane Brown.
